Shakespear Vs. Mario Vargas Llosa

However, despite the differences defined above, these coincide in some respects, which highlights the high recognition that these writers have achieved. On one hand, Vargas Llosa has received numerous awards and honors, including the Nobel Prize for Literature (2010) and the two highest awards granted in the field of Hispanic literature: the Rómulo Gallegos (1967), for his novel ¨La casa Verde¨ and Cervantes (1994). Likewise, Shakespeare is generally recognized by many entities as the greatest writer of all time, the only figure in the history of literature.

The words, seemingly insignificant, have a great power that only few can find. These words throughout history have made love messages, political ideals, religious ideals, stories, fables, novels, plays, etc. Compositions were structured by great minds, two of them are William Shakespeare and Jorge Mario Pedro Vargas Llosa, they are different in various aspects but they agree in others.

First, talk about their differences. Significantly, each belongs to a certain time, the first one was born in modern age and the other belongs to the contemporary era. Furthermore, they also differ in their production, so that the first was a playwright, poet and English actor, the second change is a novelist, essayist and had an important political participation in Peru when it was proposed as a candidate presidential, but it is worth noting that even influences public opinion.
